Living Skills & Independence

The Living Skills & Independence Endeavours Program is initiated to deliver the following: -

Vocational & Self-Reliant Training. To facilitate vocational training and education to equip (1) children with special needs, (2) under-privilege children and (3) youth to survive and be emotionally and financially independent; and,

Placement. Placing graduated students with suitable employment and/or create employment suitable for these graduated students to enable them to be financially independent or at least lessen their family’s financial burden.

Advocacy and Awareness Creation. The focal point of advocacy and awareness creation is to: -

• Society Mind-set. Change the mind-set of society to embrace and accept these children and youth as part of the society in general;

• Environment & Inventions.   Encourage and promote the facilitation of more friendly environment modified or created through inventions and innovations to accommodate and improve the lives of children with special needs. Most times, handicap or special need children are handicapped by the environment or situation that they are placed into by unknowing adults. 

Caregivers Support. To provide support (regardless emotionally or financially) to caregivers and/or parents of children and youth who are not capable to attend or receive vocational and self-reliant training.
